Architectural visual modeling elements design creativity

【 Abstract 】 Every city has its unique characteristics, and the buildings that make up the city are an indispensable part of the city. In the design and modeling of architectural groups, there are lines of "point", "line", "surface" and "body". In this process, the surface of architecture becomes an indispensable element in the visual modeling of urban architecture, which provides architects with inspiration for architectural design and also helps architects understand the appearance and unique connotation of buildings. In this paper, the author expounds the unique visual modeling design in architecture from three aspects: "design type", "design technique" and "design creativity".
【 Key words 】 Architectural visual modeling; Elements; Noodles; Design creativity
The skin is the medium through which architects communicate with the city on the basis of architecture, and the first impression left by people is the skin of the building, which shows the uniqueness of the building through a series of elements such as materials given by the designer. With the progress of society and the development of The Times, the application and design of architectural skin are becoming more and more active, not restricted by the skin itself, but also very liberal. Many previously unknown components are gradually discovered by architects, and some even become the most important factor in determining architecture. At the same time, we pay more and more attention to these structural products, these building surfaces are becoming more and more important, whether it is public buildings, or private homes, are well reflected in the appearance of the colorful colors of the building. From another point of view, we can see that the face of architecture is difficult to be limited, so for designers, each building can be given its own unique emotion by the architect, and the face of the building also gives the architect countless creative inspiration. Because, it is of great significance and value to combine theory with practice in the study of architectural surface.
1. Types and characteristics of architectural visual modeling
A surface is composed of straight lines and can also be composed of an infinite number of points, and can itself be regarded as a solid boundary surface. Through the clever combination of points and lines, the building can produce a unique visual effect. The space is maximized by dividing new planes with lines on one plane. In addition, the lines contained in this plane and their attachments can feel the main expression of this plane. In architecture, faces can be divided into the following types: planes, bevels and curved surfaces.
1.1 Plane
We can see many planes in the building group, and the vast majority of three-dimensional buildings are composed by the combination of planes. Although the plane has its disadvantages: the facial expression is slightly blunt and plain. However, after the designer's ingenious design, the building will still present a different and unique style. The works of Richard Meyer, the representative of the White School, have always emphasized the role of surface. The columns and walls of the Madrid Art Museum designed by him are like pieces of sheet building blocks. Windows are also positioned to emphasize the sense of the face; Even the balcony panels are small pieces to hang on. We can think of a split face as a distorted face, or a combination of faces facing different directions. Folding surface through the stacking of the surface, the arrangement of people produce the feeling of movement, you can feel the beating of the surface. In the design of the parking lot and tram terminal in Strasbourg, France, Zaha Hadid uses the methods of flow, field and line, and the roof and the wall are connected as a huge folding surface, so that people can feel that this is an overall space where the traffic system can constantly transform each other.
1.2 Inclined Plane
The slope creates a visual buffer by bringing a slight change to the whole space. The slope plane has a certain dynamic beauty relative to the plane of space. Japan Nichan Cultural Hall, the architectural design is overlapping terrace, the external wall is composed of a series of intersecting inclined planes, the floor and roof are also inclined planes, with a sense of force and dynamics. When designing buildings, architects will add a few beveled planes to the monotonous plane to increase the feeling of staggered combination, so that the building is full of a different image. The outer wall of Lyon Concert Hall in Spain uses a small area of inclined planes to synthesize trumpet Windows of different sizes, and the Angle of each inclined plane is also different, so that the original plain outer wall produces concave and convex changes, like an abstract painting.
1.3 Surfaces
Another type of surface used in architecture is a curved surface. The curved surface is composed of countless curves, which is more gentle, has some friendliness and dynamic beauty, and has the unique vitality of curves, bringing a lot of flowing water to the space. These surfaces, to a large extent, determine the expression and location of an architectural image. In the hands of architects, curves and surfaces are sometimes combined, alternating with each other to bring shape changes to the space. The overall shape of Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, the undulating roof makes it as if it flew from the Pearl River. From the air, the exhibition center is like a cloud floating quietly to the south bank of the Pearl River; From the side, it looks like a fish that has just jumped ashore, with its head facing south and full of dynamism. The upper curved surface breaks the monotony of high-rise buildings. The architectural image generated by repeated wavy curved surfaces is full of tension, but also smooth and smooth. Stand out in the overall environment.
2. Design techniques in architectural visual modeling
Architecture needs to have its inherent charm, so architects must adopt certain design techniques when designing, without losing the unique characteristics of the building, so as to integrate more artistic characteristics into the building. Therefore, in the process of combining theory and practice, architects have explored the special element of face in architectural visual modeling to increase the unique image of buildings.
2.1 Graphics and composition of the surface
The facade is the external viewing part of the building, and its importance is self-evident. The facade appears in graphic form. The rapid development of science and technology has promoted the rapid evolution of the basic theory and practice of modern architecture. Generation after generation of architects trained by modern science and technology have explored the basic theory of architectural form and architectural design practice in various aspects, breaking through the constraints of traditional architectural forms and aesthetic concepts, and constantly innovating in architectural art, so that more and more architectural forms can be displayed in front of people.
2.2 The virtual reality and comparison of the above
In addition to the real face, there are also virtual faces in architecture. Dense points or lines can create a sense of surface, such as louver partitions. Although light and sight can partially penetrate and space is fluid, the sense of division is already quite strong and has a greater limiting effect on human behavior. In the space divided by such a virtual surface, the two partitioned Spaces have continuity and mutual penetration, and have the effect of both division and combination, separation and continuous. The dense point or line itself is decorative, and the use of such a virtual surface in architectural modeling can produce a visual focus, and the image will be more vivid and eye-catching.
2.3 Convex and convex surfaces and layers
Concave and convex is also an important aspect of the design of the surface, the use of concave and convex can break the monotony of the architectural appearance, increase the sense of hierarchy and disarray, so as to form a three-dimensional sense and a sense of sculpture, visual fluctuation, so that the architectural image changes more, more fullness. The facade modeling of Ningbo University Library in Zhejiang Province is to change the original simple and thick cube into a new shape and modern sense through the concave and convex changes of different sizes and shapes. In the program of the jewelry container of the new museum of Guangdong Province, the designer uses convex and convex changes to form the museum into a carved container in ancient China, which naturally combines with the image of a container full of treasures, and the image is concise and prominent, and has a strong symbol.
peroration
Through continuous design learning, architectural designers create buildings with points and surfaces, draw lines and circles, and add the unique elements of color and texture of buildings. At the same time, add a variety of architectural design methods and the inspiration of designers' creativity, so that these elements dissolve in the building design, so that these can be well integrated.
